Biography

James Dimon is chairman and chief executive officer of JPMorgan Chase & Co. He joined Bank One as chairman and CEO in 2000, became JPMorgan Chase’s president and chief operating officer after the 2004 merger, and assumed the CEO role in 2006. He became chairman of the board in 2007.
